You’ll operate floor cleaning machines, sanitize washrooms, dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, empty garbage and recycling, clean glass and walls—always striving for the highest standards of cleanliness. Your Mission & Impact
Cleanliness & Presentation
Variety of Tasks
Operate floor machines; clean washrooms; dust, vacuum, empty trash/recycling; and sanitize surfaces (glass, walls, etc.) to keep the facility sparkling.
Maintain Pristine Spaces
Ensure lobbies, restrooms, grooming stations, team rooms, and common areas remain consistently clean and welcoming.
Focused on Facility Care
Note that our daycare/boarding team handles day-to-day pet-related cleanups—your primary responsibility is overall facility upkeep.
Safety & Compliance
Use Proper Methods
Adhere to correct chemical handling, product usage, and safety protocols to protect pets, team members, and yourself.
Identify Hazards
Conduct routine checks for any safety or maintenance concerns (slippery floors, damaged fixtures/equipment) and report them promptly.
Follow Petfinity Standards
Uphold company guidelines and relevant health and sanitation codes, helping maintain a safe, compliant workspace.
Collaboration & Efficiency
Coordinate with Teams
Communicate effectively with team members in each department to complete cleaning tasks without disrupting daily operations.
Manage Supplies
Track inventory of cleaning products and schedule reorders to ensure smooth workflows.
Foster a Positive Culture
Support a welcoming environment where team members and pets feel comfortable and appreciated.

Warm & Welcoming
Interact courteously with pet owners and visitors, offering assistance or directions when needed.

Support Special Events
Help with event setup or extra cleaning needs for grooming showcases, adoption drives, or community outreach initiatives.
What Sets You Apart
Previous custodial or janitorial experience—especially in high-traffic settings—is a plus.
You’re punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-notch results.
Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
Eager to communicate and collaborate with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Familiar with cleaning supplies, equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on safe practices.
Comfortable around companion animals of all sizes and unfazed by pet-related messes, noises, and activity. A passion for animals is a must!

Salary: $18.75 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
