Kickstart your dog’s training journey with our comprehensive Initial Assessment! During this one-on-one evaluation, our certified trainers will observe your dog’s behaviour, assess their unique needs, and discuss your goals. You will receive a detailed report card outlining our observations, personalized training recommendations, and a step-by-step plan to help your pup succeed. What to Expect
Private Lessons
Our private training lessons are designed to set your dog up for success—covering everything from obedience and socialization to more advanced, specialized skills. Based on a detailed initial assessment, we create a personalized plan tailored to your goals and your dog’s unique needs. Offered as 5- to 10-session programs, each lesson takes place in a supportive and structured environment, helping you tackle challenges, build new skills, and strengthen your bond with your dog.
Follow-up private lessons can also be scheduled during Daycare days, Stay & Play, or Boarding, making it easy to keep your dog’s progress on track, even with a busy schedule.

What You’ll Receive
Session Report Cards
Whether you are unable to attend the private training session or decide to drop off your dog to work with our trainers, you will receive a detailed report card after each session, including photos or videos and a summary of your pup's progress.
Home Exercises and Resources
We’ll provide you with exercises to practice between sessions, and resources to support your dog's learning at home.

Lisa-Marie has a genuine passion for communicating with canines and has been working exclusively in the pet service field for over 18 years in various capacities, including both private pet care and rescue and rehabilitation within a shelter environment. She is well versed in reading and interpreting canine body language, fluent in learning theory and positive reinforcement techniques, has a multitude of experience in dog-to-dog socialization, and strongly believes that our dogs often teach us as much as we teach them! Being the proud owner of a very timid rescue dog, she not only has a true understanding of the bonds we form with our pets, she also has the skills required to help owners build and maintain a healthy, productive and mutually respectful relationship with their pet. Lisa-Marie is a P.A.C.E (Positive Approach Canine Education) certified handler and instructor and a CPDT-KA designated dog trainer.
A Few Things You Should Know
Before You Sign Up
If your dog is reactive with people, we kindly ask that you contact us before signing up, so we can ensure the best approach to meet their specific needs.
Registration
Please complete your registration at least 48 hours in advance through our website. During registration, inform us if your dog has any allergies. If your dog requires specific treats, feel free to bring your own to ensure their safety and comfort.
Vaccines
For the health and safety of all pets in our care, please ensure your dog’s DAPP, rabies and Bordetella vaccines are up-to-date and records are submitted before they join us!
What to Bring with You
Please bring a 4–6 ft leash, some tasty treats, and, of course, a positive attitude. For everyone’s safety and success, extendable leashes are not permitted.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your pet's private training session up to 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled session will be charged at the full rate. Please contact us ahead of time to cancel or reschedule.
