Tank requirements

Reptiles must be brought in their own tanks or enclosures, equipped with all necessary items such as heat lamps, dishes, substrate, and any other essentials. Tanks or terrariums can be up to 60 gallons and must have locking lids if housing snakes.Tanks must be portable, countertop-friendly, and not standalone models.

*For tanks bigger than 60 gallons, an additional fee of $20/day applies.

Tank setup

We recommend owners mirror their reptiles' tank setup to their home environment as closely as possible to minimize stress caused by the change in surroundings.

Exclusions

We do not accept snakes that require live prey for feeding during their stay.

Fresh insects for your pet's stay

If you're going to be away for an extended period, we can arrange to purchase fresh worms, insects, or bugs for your pet during their stay, and we'll add the cost directly to your reservation. Alternatively, you can arrange for someone to bring your pet's preferred insects directly to us. This makes settling up easy when you pick up your beloved pet.

Bird Boarding

Our bird boarding service is designed to give your pets a comfortable and engaging stay while you’re away. With individualized care, we ensure your bird receives proper nutrition, stimulating social interaction, and a clean, safe environment. Whether it’s a chatty parrot or a delicate finch, we understand the unique requirements of each species and are committed to keeping them happy, healthy, and entertained.

Requirements

Birds must arrive in their own cages, complete with everything they need for their comfort and well-being. Owners are responsible for providing essential items such as food dishes, perches, and any toys they prefer.

Cage setup

We recommend owners mirror their birds' cage setup to their home environment as closely as possible to minimize stress caused by the change in surroundings.

Exclusions

To provide a comfortable stay and safety for all pets in our Critter Cove, we do not accept extra-large birds that require ample space to fly during their stay.

Cancellation policies

Cancel any time up to 48 hours prior to the booking for a full refund.
For cancellations less than 48 hours in advance, payment is forfeited and cannot be applied to future bookings.

"Petfinity is such an innovative concept that both dogs and their owners can enjoy! It’s a beautiful facility that offers an indoor off leash experience, walking track, pool, treadmills, store, etc. The staff have been nothing but welcoming, professional & attentive. The park referees make a point of interacting with all owners and getting to know your dog on a first name basis. It’s always nice to have a third party ready to step in if ever need be. They do an amazing job at making sure the park energy is fun yet safe at all times. We have signed up for an annual membership, and in our first week have gone 5/7 days. If you actually take advantage of using the facility to its fullest the price is extremely justifiable. Petfinity has been especially helpful for our pup to get his exercise in when the weather has been less than favorable. In addition, as a woman, it’s nice to have a safe facility to take my dog to when it’s late in the evenings and I wouldn’t want to be at a typical outdoor park/walk by myself."

"We are lucky to have a facility like this come to Calgary! We checked out Petfinity on their opening day & were very impressed. Upon walking thru the doors you are greeted by wonderful staff members. You can't help but notice how clean, airy & spacious this brand new facility is. The park itself is a great size, with cool obstacles & perches for your dog to play on. Additionally there is a walking track, smaller fenced in turf area & treadmills for you to take advantage of. Expanding to the amenity list - there is the option to book the pool, a self serve dog wash, a pet store, daycare, grooming, etc. We have been back to Petfinity multiple times already & plan to keep utilizing this facility given Calgary's unpredictable weather, and also just to change things up for our dog!"

"Front end staff were very helpful and efficient. The park and walking track is relatively small. Good for small or medium sized dogs. There were large dogs there, however, they were the lesser of population. All the guests dogs were well behaved and anxious to play with other dogs. What disappointed me was an employee’s dog was bulldozing dogs that were playing and this dog nipped my dog while he was playing. It frightened my timid medium sized dog and he no longer wanted to be there. They did remove the dog for a time being and then the dog was back in the ring a short time later. I am aware that there are dangers of being around other dogs and unknown behaviours. But when its staff, the behaviour is known but yet it is still allowed? We left and did mention the incident to reception. The store has lots of the usual and unusual things. There are plenty of things for other pets besides dogs."

Our dog Arlo couldn’t have been happier meeting other furry friends and, of course, the willing humans who were willing to pet him. The staff was great, from the moment we arrived and signed up at the front desk to the staff monitoring the dog park. The staff interacted with all the dogs and their owners and were friendly and great at ensuring the safety of all the dogs in the park. I have read some reviews that say Petfinity is expensive to use the dog park. I guess when you compare it to a free city dog park yes. What I love most is the convenience of having everything from play in the Indoor Park to the gym and the pool for added fun. I know where we will be taking Arlo for his birthday party this year! The pet store is large and has a wide selection of high-quality products and treats we regularly purchase. We look forward to taking Arlo for his next grooming appointment."

"We take our miniature dachshund here and LOVE the space! It’s perfect for cold, winter days where it’s too chilly out to go for a walk. Petfinity has a great indoor dog park that is very clean and spacious! A few laps around the space at full speed and our doxie is pooped for the whole night! Petfinity’s indoor dog park is a great alternative to a traditional dog park or even a dog daycare. Pet parents are allowed into the space like any ordinary dog park, but all dogs must be vaccinated and with an account before entering. There’s also staff referees who help make sure all the pups are having a good time. As a concerned pet parent myself, I really love all of this about the park! I typically avoid regular dog parks because of how uncontrolled it is and I often worry my little girl would get hurt by a bigger dog. I was definitely nervous the first time bringing her in, but the staff made me feel super welcomed and were very reassuring about the whole thing. After minutes, I was put at ease watching her play with the other dogs. For anyone looking for a safe space for their pups to play, I HIGHLY recommend Petfinity’s services! "Petfinity is the future! What an incredible facility. A massive indoor space for dogs to run and play, rehab space, pool, and water supported treadmill for rehabbing injured animals. The design is thoughtfully laid out and creates a space you want to go as there are even treadmills that you can use while your dog plays. There is even a place to grab a snack and relax if you are coming straight from work. The boarding side of the facility is unlike anything I've ever seen ... Think Fantasy Land Hotel at WEM except for pets! Themed rooms with tons of space and the ability to board cats and dogs together should you need to keep your pets together. The retail side is incredibly well stocked, clean, and has anything you could ever need for your pets. Calgary, and Southern Alberta, is incredibly lucky to have such a state of the art facility open its doors here!"
