Hey there! I’m Kodey, I excitedly joined the Petfinity team in July and I’ve been loving every minute of it! I’ve been obsessed with animals since I can remember and my passion and curiosity for animals and their care led me into a career in pet retail back in 2018. While my main focus has been on reptiles, amphibians and fish, l’ve picked up a decent knowledge of everything to do with all kinds of pets along the way.
When I’m not working hard in the store or trying to get a laugh out of customers and my coworkers, you’ll probably find me exploring nature, out on a lake or riverbank fishing or sitting back and playing some video games in my free time. Some fun facts about me are that I’ve lived in Calgary my whole life, I’m a huge hockey fan (Go Flames Go!), I’m a total nerd for everything from Star Wars to Marvel to video games and everything in between and I’m also a stage 3 cancer survivor.
At home, I don’t have any furry pets right now but I do have a few tanks full of Tropical Freshwater Fish, a couple of Tarantulas and an awesome variety of reptiles which mainly consists of Ball Pythons, a few other species of snakes and 2 adorable Uromasty lizards.
